Memorial Day Contest!

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!

I am thankful for all the men and women that sacrifice themselves each day for their country and our freedoms.

A fellow Momee Friend Cheri is a mom of 2 beautiful girls and her husband is an active Navy Lieutenant for the past 11 years.

  1. It is very important for us that all patriotic holidays are about more then just BBQs, not only for our girls, but for us, and our friends as well. We always discuss the men and women that have sacrificed so we can live freely. And of course spending time with family and friends makes all important days better!

  2. This year will just be me and Gianna! We will miss daddy but he has to work this year. We will e sad but we will remember all those families that need to through that for months or years on end. We will make the most of it and visit grandma and grandpa. I hope everyone has a safe an wonderful Memorial Day!

  3. Every Memorial Day, I go to Pinelawn National Cemetary and see the beautiful waves of American flags that volunteers place on each gravesight. Everywhere you look there are endless rows of uniform flags. I place flowers on our friends and family that have passed. It is a reminder that Memorial Day has nothin to do with a day off or BBQ.
