Memorial Day Contest!

I am thankful for all the men and women that sacrifice themselves each day for their country and our freedoms.

A fellow Momee Friend Cheri is a mom of 2 beautiful girls and her husband is an active Navy Lieutenant for the past 11 years.

I thank their entire family for the sacrifices they have made to our country and the time he has spent protecting our country.

Cheri is very creative and crafty and has a small business called Caly’s Creations you can purchase adorable outfits and accessories from her. Either through her Facebook page or through Etsy.

Cheri was kind enough to join me in celebrating Memorial Day weekend by donating one of her adorable creations to raffle off to all of you fellow Momee friends.

In order to be in the running to win: Please like this post and tell us what you are doing this Memorial Day weekend to celebrate.

The ONE lucky winner will be announced on Monday May 27th at 8pm

Here is the adorable creation you could win from Caly’s Creations

*** If you do not win, DO NOT worry you can purchase one from Cheri and it will be perfect for your 4th of July BBQ!***

  1. It is very important for us that all patriotic holidays are about more then just BBQs, not only for our girls, but for us, and our friends as well. We always discuss the men and women that have sacrificed so we can live freely. And of course spending time with family and friends makes all important days better!

  2. This year will just be me and Gianna! We will miss daddy but he has to work this year. We will e sad but we will remember all those families that need to through that for months or years on end. We will make the most of it and visit grandma and grandpa. I hope everyone has a safe an wonderful Memorial Day!

  3. Every Memorial Day, I go to Pinelawn National Cemetary and see the beautiful waves of American flags that volunteers place on each gravesight. Everywhere you look there are endless rows of uniform flags. I place flowers on our friends and family that have passed. It is a reminder that Memorial Day has nothin to do with a day off or BBQ.
