Make this adorable Angel craft by reusing a Palmolive Dish Soap Bottle and the end result is a cute holiday decoration.
I was washing the dishes the other night and I was looking at the Palmolive body and thinking to myself how great would this shape be for the body of an angel. And that’s when my Momee crafting light bulb turned on and this angel was created.
For this craft you need:
An empty Palmolive bottle
A Styrofoam ball
1 paper plate
2 gold Pipe Cleaners
4 1/ 2 yellow Pipe Cleaners
Light Blue, Silver, White and Black Acrylic Paint
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun
Directions:
First, take the label off the bottle and then paint the entire bottle light blue.
Then, cut the paper plate in half and paint both sides silver.
Also, paint the Styrofoam ball white. Allow all pieces to dry completely.
Once dry, you are ready to assemble the angel.
Paint a face with black acrylic paint on the white Styrofoam ball.
Shape and stick the gold pipe cleaner into the top of the Styrofoam ball (to look like a halo).
Hot glue the four yellow pipe cleaners to the top of the Styrofoam ball. Two in front of the halo and two behind the halo to make it look like a full head of hair.
I then took a half of a yellow pipe cleaner and cut little pieces to make bangs and hot glued them as well.
I then wrote with black acrylic paint FAITH on the front of the bottle. You can write JOY or PEACE as well.
Hot glue the paper plates to the back of the bottle and you have completed your Angel Craft.
I think she would look cute on top of a fireplace mantle or on a shelf around the holidays.
