We love to read all year long and in the Summer we have even more time to read the books we love since there is less of a routine since school is out for the summer months.
Reading is always rewarding but, we have some local spots that are rewarding your children for their Summer Reading this summer.
Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program
Barnes and Noble has created a variety of lists to get kids excited about reading this summer!
Start exploring now, and find out how kids (grades 1-6) can earn a free book: HERE
Bookworm Wednesdays at Showcase Cinemas
A fun and rewarding summer reading program developed to encourage young children to read during the summer months, Bookworm Wednesdays entitles kids to free admission to a select children’s film when they present a book report at a participating Cinema de Lux, Showcase, or Multiplex Cinemas box office.
Accompanying parents or guardians and children under six years of age receive free admission and do not need to submit a book report.
It is time for Bookworm Wednesdays at Farmingdale Multiplex Cinemas and Island 16: Cinema de Lux!
We love that Showcase Cinemas is encouraging our kids to read this summer and reward them with a FREE ticket to the movies.

Head to your local Library and join their Summer Reading Program!
We signed up for ours and the kids get rewarded for reading all summer long. The programs and resources that your local library offers are incredible. We highly encourage taking advantage of all the great things they offer for all ages.
