Head down to the Bay of Patchogue for a great outdoor space for families to enjoy.
Shorefront Park includes an awesome playground, swings, putting green, Adult Workout Area, beautiful bay views and stage/ concert venue.

When we first arrived at the park Mia ran straight to the Pirate Ship playground.

I have never seen a pirate ship at any of the playgrounds around Long Island and the view when you are standing at the bow (front) of the ship is beautiful. You are looking right at the Bay.

It is really cute because the kids feel they are really playing on a pirate ship because the water is right there.

Mia and I enjoyed the slide together. If there are slides to play on Mia is one happy girl.

There is another playground adjacent to the pirate ship that is great for older and younger kids.

And of course let’s not forget about the swings. There are 4 regular swings and 2 baby swings available.

What makes this park unique is the adult exercise equipment. I love that it is placed right next to the playground equipment. Parents can work out with their eyes on their children and when they look in front of them they have the view of the bay. The ideal workout situation for any parent.

In front of the Pirate Ship Playground set I a small Putting Green, too.

And when you leave the playground area and walk over the tiny bridge you end up at the concert stage/ venue. In the summer months the town provides a whole concert series and of course the Great South Bay Music Festival.
