Will the groundhog see their shadow tomorrow morning? That is the question we will be asking two groundhog’s here on Long Island, tomorrow.
I am talking about Malverne Mel and Holtsville Hal.
Holtsville Hal is pictured to the right- photo courtesy of www.longislandpress.com
Malverne Mel pictured to the left is a photo taken by www.newsday.com
Would you like to see either groundhog in person?
You can see both groundhog’s at 7 am tomorrow morning (February 2nd, 2016)
At the Holtsville Ecology Site you can see Holtsville Hal’s prediction at 7:25 am. I hear hot chocolate will be served too!
or
Visit Malverne Mel at the gazebo on Church Street in Malverne at 7am.
The above picture is Sweetbriar Sam. Even though Sweetbriar Nature Center in Smithtown is not having Sam doing any public predictions tomorrow, you can still visit him at Sweetbriar during there regular business hours tomorrow.
