Over the Edge

Over the Edge will see 92 brave “Edgers” rappel 170 feet down the Tower at Nassau Community College on July 1, 2017 in order to help struggling families on Long Island.

It’s the tallest, most exciting fundraiser and community event to hit Nassau County and the most unique charitable sponsorship opportunity of 2017!

Join NY Islanders legend Bob Nystrom and President/CEO of Zorn’s of Bethpage, Merrill Zorn, and go Over the Edge! The first 92 individuals to raise a minimum of $1,000 will secure an official rappel spot as an Edger.  All of the fundraising proceeds will benefit EAC Network’s programs that protect children, promote healthy families and communities, help seniors, and empower individuals to take control of their lives.

You can join the event as an individual, or you and your friends, or your company, could put together a team and fundraise as a group! Kids as young as 14 are welcome to get involved!

I’m Anne

I love to write about all things Long Island and family. I was born and raised here and as a local, I want to share all the great things I have loved about living here since I was a child. Our community is filled with great people, amazing local businesses, beautiful nature sites, scenic beaches, craveable restaurants and so much more. My husband and I knew when we had our first child that I would become a stay-at-home mom. Thanks to my love for sharing all the things I love about Long Island, my blog was created in 2013.

We are dedicated to linking families and businesses together for the benefit of all.
I hope you enjoy all that Momee Friends offers whether it is a smile, craft, recipe, friendly advice, or an event for your family to attend together in a safe and creative environment.

I hope you enjoy my blog and find it informative! Please feel free to comment and share your experiences with all your fellow Momee Friends! I want this blog to be for all of us and I want it to be an enjoyable site that you absolutely love to visit!
