4. Yaphank Trail of Terror

“The Yaphank Trail of Terror is entering its 5th year scaring people in the woods of Yaphank. Located on the grounds of the Yaphank Presbyterian Church this half-mile long trail through the woods will take you 15 terrifying minutes to complete with no place to run and hide. Utilizing the darkness of the woods to it’s maximum potential you’ll have plenty of time between scenes to contemplate what might be next or what that noise was that you heard.”

7. Horse Ability’s Haunted Hay Barn

8.  Darkside Haunted House

10. Spooky Fest at Tanglewood

“The Center for Science Teaching and Learning (CSTL) celebrates Halloween with Spooky Fest. This family friendly event will take place 7 days in October (see below for dates) from 6:30pm- 9:30pm at the Tanglewood Preserve in Rockville Centre, Long Island. Sixteen acres are transformed into a family friendly, Halloween event.
