NYCB Live Launches “Kids Go Free” Program

NYCB LIVE, home of Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum launches “Kids Go Free” initiative to offer more affordable, family-friendly entertainment options.

 

The program will kick off with the Long Island Nets granting free entry to all remaining regular season games for kids age 11-and-under and will extend to the New York Open indoor tennis tournament February 11-16.

  • The Long Island Nets will be granting free entry to kids age 11-and-under to remaining regular season games at NYCB LIVE, with the purchase of one paid adult ticket with a $20 value. Fans can receive up to two free kids tickets through this special offer by using the promo code “LIKIDS” on Ticketmaster.com. This promotion will be offered to fans throughout the remainder of the 2017-2018 season.

  • At the New York Open, kids age 12-and-under are welcome for free with a paid adult for all sessions from February 11-16. This offer is redeemable on Ticketmaster.com for upper level tickets and grants two kids free entry per paid adult. This offer is not valid for semifinals on February 17 or finals on February 18.

NYCB LIVE features a variety of kid-friendly games, activities and entertainment tailored to young fans and hopes to continue the “Kids Go Free” program with future events. In addition to free tickets to all upcoming regular season Long Island Nets games, the first 500 kids to attend a Long Island Nets game will also receive one free giveaway, which could include a Long Island Nets logo shirt, sweat band, shooting sleeves, logo pennant or pencil case. The first giveaway on the January 20 Martin Luther King Jr. game will be a Long Island Nets black and white logo t-shirt. Parents can also choose from special vendor promotions, including dollar hot dogs and a kid’s meal package.

Each Long Island Nets home game also features a variety of kid-friendly games, activities and entertainment tailored to young fans. In addition to the Kids Zone, which features a game truck and inflatables, home games include performances by either the Long Island Nets Kids Dance Team or Team Hype, the best break dancers, tumblers, and dunkers on Long Island. Both teams can be seen interacting with fans, launching t-shirts in the crowd, and performing dynamic routines.
