I love Apple Season and cooking with Apples.
Yesterday morning I made my family a delicious Apple Potato Hash and it was a successful dish I just had to share with all my fellow Momees.
All you need is:
Β 3 delicious Apples ( maybe ones you picked yourself )—-> Apple Picking on Long Island
3 Potatoes, 1/4 cup chopped onion, salt, pepper, olive oil, apple cider vinegar and McCormick Sugar and Cinnamon
Β
First, put a light coating of olive oil and apple cider vinegar in your skillet (about 1 Tbsp each) and put it on a low heat till it heats up.
Then add in your onion and let brown for about 1 minute turning up your heat to a medium heat, Dice up your potatoes after you have cleaned and peeled them.
Add in your potatoes and stir occasionally for about 8 minutes. Once you add in the potatoes add in your salt and pepper. As much or little as you like.
Dice up your 3 apples (leave skins on) and add to your skillet.
As you mix everything together add enough McCormick sugar/ cinnamon to the top that you have turned the grinder about 6 times.
Let everything get a light golden brown for a total cooking time of 15 minutes.
Serve and enjoy! Another recipe from my Momee kitchen to yours.
