Little Steps Great Success was created in early 2012 by two teachers with a combined 20 years of experience in the field of special education and autism. Toniann Giordano is a special education teacher and Amy Bitondo is a special education teacher as well as a BCBA.
Their mission is to educate children while involving family members to ensure that everyone as well as the child with autism or another developmental disability can know how to handle “any bumps in the road” and function in the world. Their program is fantastic; Toniann and Amy use art therapy, dance and music therapy in their socialization groups.
“At Little Steps Great Success, we are dedicated to making the world of Applied Behavior Analysis accessible to parents and families whose children benefit from ABA.”
Little Steps Great Success helps families all over Long Island (both Suffolk and Nassau County) as well as Queens and Westchester.
“Our biggest success stories have come from students and families who create continuity between home and school, fostering our belief that success for our students truly begins at home, and parents are their own children’s greatest teachers.”
