Always looking for fun things to do on a snow day and this was definitely a hit.

I saw this recipe on About.com and had to try it! I made mine a little different and it tasted so good.

To make this Snowy Treat you need:

8 cups of FRESH SNOW (then you will know it is clean!)

1 1/2 cup milk

1 Tbsp of Vanilla Extract

2 pinches of Salt

Directions:

Collect 8 cups of FRESH SNOW!

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and within a minute or two you have

FRESH SNOW ICE CREAM!

When you add the vanilla extract the snow may look like the color snow you were told not to eat… but trust me it is good!

It will not be the consistency you are used to but a mix between a snow cone and Ice cream.

And of course I had to serve it in a Frozen Elsa Bowl for Mia!

Mia asked for Sprinkles so we went for it. It was a great little treat.

Mia says, ” I want to eat snow everyday!”

This yummy Snow Treat made being stuck in the LI blizzard of 2015 not so bad by having this yummy treat.
