Delaney is 11-years-old and is Shining Bright in our community.
She bakes cupcakes to raise money for Angela’s House which is a fantastic charity to raise money for here on Long Island. Angela’s House is an organization that provides services and support to children and families on Long Island that are in need of special home care to support medically fragile children living at home.

Delaney’s inspiration comes from her cousin, Caroline who is one of the children who currently lives at one of the Angela’s House locations. Along with her mother, Delaney set up a Facebook page called Cupcakes for Caroline. Here you can follow what flavor cupcake Delaney is making that month and when you can pick up your orders. Delaney sells boxes of cupcakes for five dollars each. For the month of November, the flavor is Pumpkin with a cream cheese frosting. Yummy!
Support Angela’s House and Delaney by placing an order and helping her reach her fundraising goal of $5,000.00.

I spoke with Bob Policastro of Angela’s House and he mentioned how happy he is to see that kids are helping other kids. Delaney is an inspiration to other kids by showing them that they can make a difference in their community, too.
It doesn’t have to be something huge to make an impact. A simple act of kindness goes a long way! Momee Friends is happy to recognize Delaney and her love and compassion for her cousin and the other children at Angela’s House.
