Grinch Cookies & Milkshake

We love watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas during Christmas time. To go along with the movie we had some delicious cookies and a milkshake that was inspired by the Grinch. Attached in this article is some fun crafts to do with your family too.

During Christmas time there is nothing better than some delicious cookies with a fun drink like a milkshake to enjoy with your family.

GRINCH COOKIES

What you need is:

  • 18.25 oz Box Vanilla Cake Mix

  • 1 stick Butter melted

  • 2 Eggs

  • Green Food Coloring

  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar

  • 1 tbsp Corn Starch

  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil

  • Red Wilton Glitter Gel

Directions:

Pre – heat oven to 375. Cover cookie sheet with parchment paper. Mix together corn starch and powdered sugar in a shallow dish. In a large bowl, mix together butter cake mix and eggs (this will be thick). Add enough green food coloring to get bright green (a lot).

***On Raining Hot Coupons she gave a great tip:

In order to keep from getting your hands all green, use 2 spoons to gather up a chunk of dough and drop into the sugar starch mixture.

Roll around with the spoons to cover well. Then pick up and roll into a ball and place on cookie sheet.

Make sure you don’t place too close as they will spread out some.

Bake for about 8-10 minutes until they puff up.

Allow to cool on cookie sheet for several minutes before transferring to cooling rack. Once cooled down draw a red heart on the cookie with the Red Wilton Glitter Gel.

Grinch Milkshake

My girls loved this recipe. I just did not add the mint flavor and left it a vanilla milkshake with green food coloring. And again I added a Wilton Red Glitter Heart on top of the Whip Cream and Green Sugar Crystal Sprinkles.
