We have the luck of the Irish here on Long Island! There is so many fun things for families to do to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day across the Island. Where will you celebrate?

The first thing I look for is a parade. St. Patrick’s Day parades are so much fun and the kids love them as much as the adults do. News 12 Long Island has a great list of the parades that start this weekend. Since St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Thursday there is celebrations two weekends in a row. Now, if that ain’t luck I don’t know what is.

Irish Festival

The Irish Festival will continue to celebrate the Irish gifts of music, food an culture to America. There will be a number of music and dance performances throughout the day, as well as a variety of vendors and food.

All net proceeds benefit the Hofstra University Scholarship Fund.
