A perfect dessert for the summer is Grilled Peaches!

This recipe adds the perfect amount of sweetness to your summer peaches for a dessert that everyone in your family will enjoy. My husband is the one who tends to the grill in our home and he enjoyed making dessert on the grill, tonight.

The recipe below is from The Food Network —> Grilled Peaches

First, cut your peaches in half  (removing the pit).

Next, put the brown sugar (I used light brown sugar in my recipe because it is all I had in my pantry) and the vanilla extract and almond extract in a mixing bowl. Mix well and then mix into the cut peaches.

I let the peaches marinate in the brown sugar mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before my husband grilled them. The recipe says to just mix and then let them marinate for 15 minutes before grilling.

On a medium heat grill the skin side for about 3 minutes till charred and then turn the peaches over and let the peaches grill for about another minute till you see the grill marks. Serve as is or with cool whip and/ or vanilla ice cream. A perfect summer night dessert that will excite your taste buds.

Helpful Momee Tip:

One of my favorite kitchen hacks is putting marshmallows in with light or dark brown sugar to prevent the sugar from hardening inside of a sealed container.  * the marshmallows take in any moisture *
