Festive Houses on Long Island that are giving back to the community!

This past Saturday night my family and I had the best time singing Christmas songs and looking at local houses who decorate so beautifully for Christmas.

Not only did the houses that we visited make us smile from ear to ear in delight but, they also are giving back to local charities and that warms our heart.

These are the houses we visited:

ELM AVENUE DANCING LIGHT SHOW

The Elm Avenue Dancing Light Show is incredible! My family and I loved the light display and we enjoyed dancing along to the music and of course the dancing Santas that are on display!

We loved that they are giving back and collecting donations for St. Jude’s Children Hospital, Make A Wish Suffolk County! Highly recommend checking them out!
Located at : 65 Elm Avenue in Coram

5th STREET CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

The family at the 8A Fifth Avenue in Ronkonkoma had such a great display and they are giving back, as well. They are accepting donations for Mended Little Hearts of Long Island. If you are nearby check them out.

Located at: 8A Fifth Avenue in Ronkonkoma

FABRIS FAMILY CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND

Wow!!!! The Fabris Family Christmas Wonderland in Centereach is incredible! There is so much to see. We loved how much hard work went into creating the light display at their home. So many great hand painted display decorations, blow ups, lighted figures and so much more. You can even bring your letters for Santa. We love that they are giving back and collecting donations for Stony Brook Children’s. You have to drop by and see their display.

Located at : 3 Malibu Lane in Centereach

THE RONKONKOMA GINGERBREAD HOUSE

The Ronkonkoma Gingerbread House was as sweet as we thought it was going to be. Their house actually looks like a Gingerbread house! We love the gumdrop roof and the interactive displays! A donation box located at the end of Santa Claus lane helps benefit the ASA. An organization providing services to people with Autism in all walks of life.
Did you see them on the The Great Christmas Light Fight 2017?

Located at: 135 N. Huron St. Ronkonkoma

There are so many great light displays across Long Island and we highly recommend getting in your car and turning the radio to Walk 97.5 where they are playing Christmas music all day, every day! Check out our list and the one listed on Newsday and enjoy the night checking out and donating to the local light displays our awesome community of families are providing!

My family and I might not be able to resist we might have to go out again and see more! We truly loved every second of checking out all the lights. Definitely a new family tradition we have started this year.
