We are loving the new items on the Applebee’s Menu! Do you love comfort food off the grill?

We had the pleasure of visiting the Lake Grove location where the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our waitress Karen was so sweet. She was a Mom who knows what it is like to go out with the kiddos and she was so attentive and accommodating to what we needed. She was so delightful to talk to, as well. We will definitely ask for her again on our next visit. The manager JJ Arthur was so great. He was happy to share the new menu items with us and made sure we enjoyed our meal. We love the Lake Grove location.

NEW APPETIZER: Brisket Quesadilla –

Warm, grilled tortillas, loaded with shredded beef brisket, fresh pico and a blend of melted Cheddar cheeses and served with green chile sauce and chipotle lime salsa. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! It is so good.

 

NEW ENTREES:

 

My husband and I always love to share our meals when we go out. We love that these combo meals give you a little bit of this and a little bit of that. (actually the portions are large and your belly will be so satisfied) We really enjoyed the combos and are so glad we got different ones so we can try it all.

DESSERT:

We were way too full for dessert but, they have a great selection of desserts for your family enjoy!

We usually get the Blue Ribbon Brownie it is our favorite and satisfies your sweet tooth.

 

KIDS MENU:

The kids menu had great choices all around for kids to pick from. The “pickiest” of eaters will have something they will enjoy off the kids menu. I know first hand because my six-year old is one of the pickiest eaters. Chicken Fingers and Fries it is for both girls : )

Dining out with your family can be challenging. Are the kids going to act out? Are they going to enjoy the menu items? I have to say that Applebee’s has done a wonderful job of making sure that the family dining experience is something that is enjoyable.

The are keeping our kids entertained at the table, too. Did you know Applebee’s has these awesome table side tablets that allow you to order an appetizer or dessert as soon as you sit down? The tablets also features games for kids of all ages. The cost is an additional $1.99 for unlimited game play that will be added to your check, automatically with a click of a button. Have two children? It is still $1.99 and they will give you a second tablet for both kids to play their own games without fighting over the one tablet at the table. GENIUS!

We love that you can order items from the tablet and pay your check from there, too.
