News 12 Long Island has a new fun series this month: March into Spring.

Fellow Momee Crafter, Elizabeth Hashagen and I show you in three different segments fun kids crafts with a spring theme.

Segment 1:

Bird Crafts

 

Elizabeth and I wore Binoculars made out of toilet paper rolls.

We made the Cheerio Bird Feeders:

On Display was:

Birdhouses out of 1 liter soda bottle, a milk carton bird feeder and a

terra-cotta pot bird bath.

And the Peep Bird Houses are so much fun to make:

While taping we were looking for Birds and instead of finding birds we found meteorologist… Rich Hoffman! Who is ready to forecast warm weather and lots of sunshine for Spring!

Segment 2

Garden Crafts

Elizabeth and I wore sun visors you can buy at the craft store for a $1.00 and make pretty using fabric paint and stickers.

We made grass friends on air so simple to make and as their hair gets long your children can give them hair cuts.

Segment 3

Bunny Crafts

 

Elizabeth and I wore Bunny Hats made from a $1.00 Painters hat (bought at a craft store) and white and pink foam sheets.

And we also held up a bunny nose craft made out of a craft stick, pipe cleaners, and a pom pom.

 

We made a cotton ball bunny craft

 

 

On display:

and we talked about the sensory bins
