We love DINOSAURS and we love to create with Play Dough so when I saw this recipe for Fossil Dough I just had to make it and it is ROARSOME!

fossil dough

I was inspired to make this Fossil Dough when I saw the recipe on Pinterest by nuttinbutpreschool.com

The NO-BAKE recipe is great but I tweaked it a little bit.

*Please be aware this homemade dough contains caffeine PLEASE DO NOT EAT or allow your children to do so.*

Ingredients:

1 cup used Coffee Grounds (Dried Completely)

1 cup of Flour

1/2 cup of Salt

you might use up to 1/2 cup of cold coffee

Directions:

Mix all the dry ingredients together

Slowly add in the cold coffee mixing well with a spoon and then use your hands to knead the dough to the perfect consistency. If it feels sticky still add a little more flour till you have the perfect dough.

I love how this dough feels.

It is gritty and is perfect for imprinting dinosaur footprints.

I love doing recipes using household ingredients. Please be aware since this recipe does incorporate household ingredients to make sure older kids use this dough. There is coffee in it I would not want any little ones eating it on accident. And I would not want your little ones not to nap or sleep through the night because they has caffeine!

HAVE A DINO-MYTE TIME WITH YOUR FOSSIL DOUGH !
