Mummy and Skeleton Sugar Cookies

Feeling festive? Need a sweet dessert idea that is not too spooky for Halloween?

Make these sugar cookie Mummies and Skeletons that will make any child or adult smile.

Supplies needed:

Sugar Cookie Mix

Gingerbread Men Cookie Cutter

Vanilla Frosting

Wilton Sparkle Gel- Black

Wilton Candy Eyeballs

 

Directions:

Make your sugar cookie mix and roll it out.

Use your Gingerbread Cookie Cutter and place them on a baking sheet. Cook the cookies through and let cool.

MUMMY COOKIES:

We will make some Mummy Cookies, first.

Spread the frosting on top of the cookie. 

Then, take the Black Wilton Sparkle Gel and make the eye opening. (shown in picture below)

Make, the lines with the Black Wilton Sparkle Gel as shown and put your edible eyes inside the eye opening.

SKELETON COOKIES:

For the Skeletons, spread the vanilla icing over the cookie but not completely. You want to try and make the shape of a skeleton.

Using your Black Wilton Sparkle Gel make the eyes inside the head of the skeleton.

Then, make the skeleton markings on the cookie and outline the white frosting. (shown below)
