Long Island Children’s Museum

Looking for a fun place to go that children of all ages will love?

Head to the Long Island Children’s Museum in Garden City.

The Museum is two levels filled with things to do, explore and enjoy.

Have fun with your family as you experience, “14 interactive exhibits plus live theater, art spaces and daily activities to provide hours of discovery for children of all ages.”

Tot Spot

When you arrive and buy your admission ticket you are given a time to visit the Tot Spot. The Tot Spot is perfect for the younger kids (crawlers, walkers and toddlers). The area is built to look like a little town for our kids to imagine being one of our local community members. Your child can pretend to be a conductor on the train, or be a farmer, ice cream man and so much more in the Tot Spot.

BUBBLES

There is no way you or your child will not love this area. You have the opportunity to play with bubbles in all different ways in this interactive area. You and your children will create bubbles of all different sizes and even get the chance to be inside of a giant bubble.

KLUTZ® Amazingly Immature

This area is fun for kids and adults to be silly and try to create things by using literacy, math and science skills.

Communication Station

When you head up to the second level you will not be able to resist testing your news anchor skills at the News 12 desk or listen to yourself on a radio broadcast where you can explore older ways of comunication, as well. Yes, you are not seeing things that is a rotary phone dial.
