In launching my Fit Fam Program which incorporates a 30 minute family workout, I am pulling together some other ideas family can use to stay active and fit together. This week is the Popsicle stick workout.
How it works:
You will write down 1 exercise per popsicle stick
Place the sticks in jar
Each member of the family chooses a set number of sticks (ex: everyone picks 3)
Do those exercise in the order the sticks were picked
Make your kids part of the process by letting them choose the exercises to write on the sticks or let them color the sticks before writing the exercise on it. This way everyone is involved from start to finish.

The kids and I worked together to come up with the exercises.
Examples are:
5 Push Ups, 10 High Knees, Run in Place for 30 seconds, Dance around for one minute, Spin 5 times, and Jump Up & Down for 30 seconds.
We are having so much fun and feeling good!
The kids are excited to pull a popsicle stick and see what to do next.
Our favorite popsicle stick is the 10 Frog Jumps Exercise.
