This week we are having so much fun with our animal activity dice.
A fun fitness activity for kids of all ages to enjoy.
Erika Burdick of B.fit Long Island gave me this great idea to do with the kids.
DIY Fitness Dice –
Erika said, “I Love this DIY project that you can do with the older kids. The entire family can get involved once the dice are made. Think of funny moves like animal walks (crab walk or bear crawl) or silly dance moves (the running man or the twist). You can also incorporate traditional exercise moves like jumping jacks, running in place or squat jumps.”
This is a simple activity to make!
All you need is:
2 empty square tissue boxes
Brown Mailing Paper
Wrap the empty tissue boxes completely with brown mailing paper.
Then, make one of the dice your animal actions and the other dice should have the repetition / time.
Use your sharpie markers to draw on the boxes.
Next, have your kids roll the dice and follow the directions. My kids love this game!
