Garden City is a town filled with fun for the entire family.
This Nassau County town is known for restaurants that local parents recommend not only for family dining but for a date night, too. Check out our list of local businesses to visit in Garden City.
We love Museum Row… Cradle of Aviation, Firefighters Museum, Long Island Children’s Museum and Nunley’s Carousel!
These are all Long Island gems that we recommend going to.
Cradle of Aviation:
“Explore over 150,000 square feet featuring 75 air and spacecraft from a hot air balloon to an actual Apollo Lunar Module…”
When you walk around the museum you will be in awe of how much there is to see and how cool everything is. There is over a half- dozen cockpits to climb into and over 30 interactive exhibits to keep the little ones entertained as you learn about Long Island’s role in aerospace.
