We all love getting dressed up for Halloween and enjoying festivities across Long Island.
Where will you go?
Gateway’s Not So Scary Kids Adventure
Smaller children are invited to attend the Not So Scary Kids Adventure on Saturdays & Sundays, October 8-30 from 12-4pm. The Kids Adventure includes a guided, well-lit, Halloween-themed tour that introduces fun characters along the way. Admission is $10 and includes activities such as face painting, balloon art, an inflatable pumpkin bouncer, and more. Buy online at thegateway.org.

Mathnasium of Moriches Safe Halloween
Looking for a Safe Halloween Activity? Saturday October 29th from 10a-2p Mathnasium of Moriches is hosting its first Halloween Candy Shop. At this event we will be combining math activities and trick-or-treating for a fun, educational, and safe Halloween Event.
This event is free for the community regardless of membership status. All non-members are welcome to bring their math homework and stay for a 1 HOUR FREE TRIAL session after their Candy Shop experience. There will be edible and non-edible treat appropriate for kids of all ages. Wear a costume for an extra surprise!

Halloween Parade and Trick or Treating- Bellport
The Bellport Chamber of Commerce with the support of The Bellport Fire Department, The Village of Bellport & The Gateway’s Haunted Playhouse present the annual Halloween Parade and Trick and Treating in Bellport Village.
All ghosts & gablins are asked to meet at the Bellport Firehouse at 11:30AM.
Dance with us to Thriller at 12:00 and join in the parade right after.
Stay in town to do some Trick and Treating and shopping.
Pets are welcome for the parade.

Bats, Barnacles & Broomsticks- LI Aquarium
Join us as we celebrate Halloween – Aquarium style. All “buoys” and “ghouls” in costume will get 50% off admission with a paying adult (one child 12 years and under, per adult). Children will gather sweets and treats with our Safe Trick or Treating throughout the Aquarium. Our Unearthing Atlantis Dig will be transformed into a “Pirate’s Nightmare Haunted House” by the amazing special effects team at HauntedProps.com. We will have a Costume Parade for our Penguins, face painting*, author readings, the Live-brary team with the 3-D printer, a puppet show by Katie’s Puppets, craft and game stations and more! And of course our lovable animals, enjoying their Halloween treats!

Trails, Tales and Treats: Sweetbriar Nature Center
Join us for an afternoon of not so scary stories, a wildlife trick or treating trail, a romp through our Ghostly Garden, and a creepy craft and, of course, a chance to meet some of our resident Halloween animals. Come in costume and have a fun filled, safe Halloween day.

It’s Cupcake Girlz 5th Annual Kids Halloween Party. Have the kids dress in their Halloween Costumes for a fun time filled with crafts, tattoos, face painting and snacks! What’s better than pumpkin picking at your favorite neighborhood park, Heritage Park?!?

Our museum’s biggest and best event with spooky (and not so scary) games, activities, and crafts for the whole family!
See our museum come to life with costumed characters, visit our Spooktacular Zoo brought by Jungle Bob’s and sponsored by Gellerman Orthodontics, see a touch tank from the WaterFront Center, and create lots of themed crafts to take home, including slime. St. James – Costume Parade
FREE – Costume Parade along Lake Avenue to the St. James Gazebo for judging. Line up in the parking lot of the former Capital One Bank at 12:30 p.m. – corner of Woodlawn and Lake Avenues in St. James. Goody bags for all. You are invited back to the Deepwells Haunted Mansion (NW corner of Moriches Road and Route 25A) for a really scary Haunted House from 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Family Halloween Party- Sands Point
A Halloween Party for young children!
The Phil Dejana Learning Center will be filled with furry woodland plush animals celebrating Halloween in a charming display complete with delightful fairy cottages and sparkle lights. An authentic Romani caravan will be on site with a scarecrow horse and driver! Children can also explore the maze in the Outdoor Classroom, and Castle Gould’s Great Hall will feature a multitude of crafts and projects.

Farmingdale Halloween Parade and Family Fun
Join in the fun ~ Farmingdale Halloween Parade is set for Sunday October 30th. Get your costumes ready! The Parade steps off from Northside School and proceeds down Main Street to the Village Green (361 Main Street). Marchers assemble at 1pm at Northside School. Free, Fun kids activities On The Village Green with Farmingdale Massapequa Macaroni Kid, Costume Contest, plus Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Face Painting & Balloon Art & More! Free Trick or Treating at Stew’s!
Free Ice Cream Cone for Kids Halloween Day!
On Halloween day, Monday, October 31, children 12 & under who come to the store in their costumes will receive a free small ice cream.
Free Trick or Treating at Stew’s!
On Tuesday, October 25, 2016, children are invited to dress in their costumes and come to Stew Leonard’s to go trick or treating throughout the store from 5:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.
Children can pick up a map from Customer Service and use the map to find treats throughout the store.

Halloween Spooktacular Puppet Show
Make us a special stop on you Trick or Treat adventure this year! Celebrate a Safe and Spooky Halloween with us here at the Long Island Puppet Theater! We will be hosting special show times of our Halloween Spooktacular Puppet Show at 1:30pm and 6:00pm with reduced ticket prices of $10 regardless of ticket reservation or walk in purchase! Safe Trick or Treat at Smith Haven Mall
Join us for a spooktacular, safe trick-or-treating environment for all of your little ghouls and goblins.
Halloween Day from 3PM-6PM at participating retailers.
Participating stores will have an orange pumpkin displayed in their window.

Halloween Happenings – Patchogue
Community children will have the ability to trick-or-treat safely at participating stores on Main Street and South Ocean Avenue. Tokens and prizes will be given to trick-or-treating children, while supplies last. The tokens should be taken to the Pumpkin Patch at Roast Coffee & Tea Trading Company, located at 41 East Main Street, for an extra prize.

Cause Cafe presents: A Spectrum-Friendly Safe Halloween
At Cause Cafe we know how difficult it can be to find a safe and enjoyable outlet for our children on Halloween, especially for those with special needs. If you are looking for a fun, relaxing event please join us.
