Pumpkins turned into Turkeys

Who still has some pumpkins that are not decorated?

We did and I thought how cute they would be as turkeys.

This is an easy craft that will bring smiles this Thanksgiving…

All you need is:

Pumpkins

Feathers

Construction Paper- White, Black , Red , Orange

Brown Paint

Directions:

First, cut out your shapes for the turkey face. A triangle orange nose, red snood, white large circles (for eyes) and small black circles (for eyes) out of your colored construction paper.

Then, paint your Pumpkins brown.

As the pumpkins are still wet add your feathers to the back of the pumpkin (the paint will act as a glue as it dries. )

Use your paint as a glue to also add the turkey face to the pumpkin. The black dots for the eyes add a little brown paint to the black dots and put them on top of the white large circles.

No need for glue and no need to wait for the paint to dry before completing your project.

Place them outside to dry and everyone who arrives at your doorstep will smile as they are greeted by your adorable Turkey pumpkins.
