A classic idea of using potatoes as a stamp is used to make a heart painting for Valentine’s Day.

A perfect way for those little toddler hands to create.

potato stamping

All you need is:

Potato

Knife

Kids Washable Crayola Paint

Paper

Directions:

Cut out the shape you want for your stamp. I made a heart using a knife.

Please have an adult do this part and do this very carefully.

In a dish put your desired color paint and have your child use the potato as a stamp.

Have your child create their beautiful pictures for Valentine’s Day.

A simple and easy craft idea your children will love.

I’m Anne

I love to write about all things Long Island and family. I was born and raised here and as a local, I want to share all the great things I have loved about living here since I was a child. Our community is filled with great people, amazing local businesses, beautiful nature sites, scenic beaches, craveable restaurants and so much more. My husband and I knew when we had our first child that I would become a stay-at-home mom. Thanks to my love for sharing all the things I love about Long Island, my blog was created in 2013.

We are dedicated to linking families and businesses together for the benefit of all.
I hope you enjoy all that Momee Friends offers whether it is a smile, craft, recipe, friendly advice, or an event for your family to attend together in a safe and creative environment.

I hope you enjoy my blog and find it informative! Please feel free to comment and share your experiences with all your fellow Momee Friends! I want this blog to be for all of us and I want it to be an enjoyable site that you absolutely love to visit!
