How festive are these Sugar Cone Christmas Trees?
They are so easy to make your kids will enjoy decorating them with you.
All you need is:
Sugar Cones
Vanilla Frosting
Green Food Coloring
Skittles
Shredded Coconut
Butter Knife
Directions:
Set up your bowls so you have everything you need to decorate with within reach and easy accessible.
I put Skittles in one bowl and shredded coconut in another.
I then put a few drops of green food coloring in the vanilla frosting and mixed it well in a bowl.
I left the vanilla frosting in the container it came in so it was one less dish to wash.
All you need to do is place your sugar cone on your plate. And add the frosting to the cone spreading evenly with the butter knife. ( you can use the green frosting or leave the tree white.)
Once your cone is completely frosted add your skittles ornaments and for a finishing touch sprinkle the coconut shreds all over the tree and plate for a snowy Christmas tree look.
My daughter and I loved making these and I am sure you and your family will too.
I bet you will not stop at one tree. I know we couldn’t .
