Baked Apple Crescent Rolls

It is Apple Season so we decided to do some baking. 🍎🍏

I love baking in the kitchen with my girls and I love how easy this recipe is and the little ones can help with most of the steps in preparing this delicious dessert that is perfect for the fall season.

For this recipe you will need:

2 packages of crescent rolls

2 Granny Smith Apples

Butter (melted)

Coconut Sugar (whichever sugar you prefer)

Cinnamon

Directions:

First, pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees F

Then, unroll your crescent rolls and place them on parchment paper.

Cut your apples into slices. (shown below)

Melt your butter (I melted a half of stick in the microwave inside a glass measuring cup) , I did not use all the butter but made sure I had enough to brush on the crescent rolls. In another bowl, mix together cinnamon and sugar to sprinkle on the crescent rolls.

When the crescent roll is unrolled brush melted butter on top and sprinkle the cinnamon/ sugar mixture.

Please note: *I should of put two slices of apple inside (one slice was not enough apple goodness after it baked)*

Place the slices of apple in center and then fold the crescent pastry on top of the apples.

Then, brush melted butter on top of each crescent roll and then sprinkle more cinnamon and sugar on top.

Place in oven for 10 to 12 minutes (till golden brown) and Enjoy!

Simple and fun recipe that the kids can help make. 😊

*You can add crushed walnuts, pecans or raisins inside if you like, as well.
