Water Lantern Festival Returns to Long Island, New York

The Water Lantern Festival is excited to announce that it will be returning to Long Island, September 13th, 2025 located at Eisenhower Park. The festival will feature the creation and release of thousands of personalized glowing lanterns across the water, spreading messages of hope, love, happiness, healing, peace, and connection.

Celebrating joy and unity, the festival will showcase a diverse selection of vendors, food trucks, and talented musicians from the local community. Voted the No. 1 festival by USA Today, this event has become a cherished community tradition.

Throughout the event, attendees can enjoy activities such as yard games and a scavenger hunt. The Festival will also feature “Lantern Stories,” a heartwarming experience that invites attendees to share personal stories and dedicate their lanterns to loved ones.

“The love, the emotions, the spirituality that filled the air was so overwhelming. The experience was a turning point in my life, which I had been searching for over the past nine years. Thank you Water Lantern Festival.” said Cindy Q.

Beyond the magic, the Water Lantern Festival is committed to environmental responsibility. A dedicated clean-up crew ensures that each park used is left in pristine condition, preserving its natural beauty for all to enjoy.
